 LeKeshia Mathis, a Doctor of Social Work, has been an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and has been involved in the behavioral health and social work profession since 2013.    She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, followed by a Master’s in Social Work from the University of New England. Subsequently, she completed her Master’s in Psychology, focusing on Applied Behavioral Analysis, and attained her Doctor of Social Work from Capella University.  Dr. Mathis is a dedicated and empathetic social worker who is deeply committed to advocacy, social change, and promoting mental wellness. With extensive experience in substance abuse disorders, co-occurring disorders, domestic violence prevention and education, and relationship dynamics, she employs a collaborative and compassionate approach to inspire hope, healing, and resilience in her clients. Currently, she provides therapy to individuals and couples in Washington State while also engaging in various educational roles across the United States.
